This is the Cambridge #1917/384 1923 Mulberry 5oz Covered Syrup and Underplate. Mulberry started in the Cambridge production line in 1923 and most likely discontinued around the time Amethyst was introduced in 1931. In direct lighting, it is easily seen that these items are Mulberry due to the more transparent nature of the coloring in the Syrup Pitcher and definitely in the underplate which is typical of the Mulberry color in thinner more delicate glass.
