The club was established many years ago, when so-called "Depression Glass" was a hot new collectible. Members joined together to share information about the various items of American-made glassware, primarily from the "Depression" years (roughly the late 1920s through the end of WW II). When the Club was organized, there were few, if any, books on the subject, and one of the best ways to learn about the glass was to share information with other collectors. IDGC is a glass/pottery/antique club with members [currently] from several states. Our club holds an annual sale/show at the McClellan Conference Center.
